Come See the Ducklings!


Chester’s Flower Shop and greenhouses in Utica will once again host their Greenhouse DisplayAnnual Palm Sunday Open House and Flower Show on Sunday March 24th at their York St. showroom and greenhouses. This event has brought the sights and scents of the spring season to thousands of Mohawk Valley residents for 75 years. Many recall their parents and grandparents bringing them to see “the ducklings” when they were young.

Chester’s greenhouses are in bloom with a huge assortment of colorful flowering plants such as lilies, azalea, tulips, hyacinths, mini-rose bushes, hydrangeas and many more.

The ducklings are still a main attraction at Chester’s and “Chetty the Rabbit” will be on hand with a “surprise” for the kids. The showroom at Chester’s will also be filled with outstanding fresh flower arrangements for everyone to enjoy, and terrific cash & carry flower specials too!!!

Chetty the RabbitVisitors are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture the beauty, and bring the children to enjoy the live duckling display. The ducklings will be on hand all week, through Easter Sunday. Chester’s will be welcoming people for an early preview on Saturday March 23rd and all day Palm Sunday March 24th. Chetty the Rabbit will be making his 75 yearsappearance on Sunday only and of course there is no admission charge.
