Rustic Wedding at The Barn at Hogs Hollow

August 12, 2015

We love unique weddings here at Chester’s, especially when the bride and groom create some of their own decor to make it distinctly theirs. This wedding – which took place at the Barn at Hog’s Hollow in Burlington Flats, NY – had a rustic vintage theme, and a color scheme of whites with touches of pink. Our designers used fluffy hydrangea and full spray roses to create all of the bouquets, centerpieces and decor.

The groom created this gorgeous archway for the ceremony, with a vintage chandelier hanging from the middle. Our designers created corner pieces for it to match the loose white drapery.

The brides bouquet (seen being held by the flower girl), was white hydrangea and pink roses, surrounded by babies breath. Her bridesmaid’s bouquets were all white hydrangea, also surrounded by baby’s breath.

The bride and groom also took the time to create their centerpiece containers, which were boxes created with barn wood and a mason jar for the center. Our designers surrounded the mason jars with fluffy hydrangea, pink spray roses and baby’s breath for a vintage, rustic look.

Beautiful centerpieces! I’m really interested to find out where you got your boxes or if you made them from scratch?

Hi Annel! The bride and groom made these boxes themselves from their own barn wood.
