Delicious Recipe From Your Favorite Florist

We all know someone who is always cooking up something delicious. Here at Chester’s we’re  lucky to have Sally. She not only smiles as she waits on our customers in the store, but when she’s off work she’s  in the kitchen working on a tasty treat.  
 
Please enjoy this recipe for a terrific bread – it’s like a dessert, but makes a great breakfast too. Watch for more of Sally’s baking and cooking successes.
 

Chocolate-chocolate chip banana bread 

 
 
 
 
 
½ cup of softened margarine
1 cup sugarChocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
1 ½ cups of flour
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 very ripe bananas
½ cup sour cream
½ cup of nuts if desired
½ cup chocolate chips
 
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Grease and flour loaf pan
 
Cream margarine and add sugar. Beat well. Add eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and bananas.
Mix well till blended. Add in all the dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips.
Add nuts if desired
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a pick comes out clean.
